In an article by Steven Kakon published in Entreprise Romande magazine, two initiatives that won awards in the cantonal sustainable development competition are highlighted.
- Laine & Sens aims to promote the use of wool in Switzerland through a more resource-efficient processing method, with a view to transforming a material that is often discarded into value-added materials and products.
- WasteOlas is recognised for its solution for capturing, purifying and reusing CO2 produced during beer fermentation, with a clear aim: to reduce both emissions and dependence on purchased CO2.
